REPORTS TO: Amie Abold.
START DATE: 10/26/2026 - Start date is flexible.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years as RN, preferred.
- RN with Nursing Education MSN.
- or RN with BSN, pursuing Nursing Education MSN. Successful candidate can enroll in MSN upon hire.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
CiTi BOCES is seeking a Practical Nursing Instructor who will be responsible for student instruction for the Adult Education Practical Nursing Program.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Practical Nursing Instructor will:
- Deliver theory instruction aligned with course outcomes; Develop and maintain instructional materials.
- Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Support a safe, positive and professional learning environment.
- Collaborate with faculty via meetings, trainings, curriculum development sessions and contributing instructional recommendations and feedback.
- Participate in student advisement and academic support, offering guidance that promotes student success, program readiness and professionalism.
- Provide occasional clinical instruction and supervision to students in healthcare settings as needed, ensuring compliance with program, facility, and regulatory requirements.
- Instructional preparation time is provided in schedule.
TIMEFRAME:
12-month position, Full-time.
COMPENSATION:

- 14 paid federal holidays (per C.B.A), 14 vacation days, 3 personal days, 18 sick days annually.
- Candidates enrolled in MSN Compensation for MSN credit hours per CBA and approval.
